"Pyrrhus, mon ami, est parti ce 18 octobre..."
croquis sur toile - 50 x 50 cm

"Bonjour !

Ciao, Floriana

  9. It's a very sad day when pets must go. I understand how difficult this decision was for you, but it was the best thing for Pyrrhus. Don't beat yourself up about it. This painting will be a nice tribute to him and your love for him will flow onto the canvas. I'm certain the resulting painting will be one of great emotion. Bisous and be well my dear.

  24. Oh that is so very very very sad. I have a tear in my eye just to read about Pyrrhus. I can't imagine how sad you feel. Pyrrhus - a beautiful dog, and a lovely garden that he lived in. He was lucky to have such a caring owner as yourself. I'm sure that he will be very proud to be in the painting. I hope that it is cathartic for you.

It will be a wonderful painting, I am sure.
I hope your days aren't too dark. You need the darkness so you can have light again. Where would one be without the other? Here we are changing into our spring cloths.

  27. So sorry Martine. I had a Dalmation who looked just like Laura and I had to make that decision when she was near the end. Now my 17 year old Norrbottenspets is suffering each day and I must soon decide how long to make him go on. It helps to think about the gift of a great life that you gave them.

Oh dear Martine, how sad what happened to your darling Pyrrhus you've done a nice tribute to your dearest friend, it is the saddest thing when we have to let them go, I'm still not recuperated from my Carlino's death last year, he was so much fun and lovable! Your painting is coming along beautiful, I have an artist friend who likes to do portraits of ladies from the 50's and 60's and she did one for me with my Ben, I will post some day. Thank you for all your lovely and generous comments, you're a wonderful and sweet lady. Lots of hugs and kisses.
