"Sur le chemin de Kawasan falls"

"Bonjour ! Nous voilà de retour à la dollhouse après plusieurs jours d'absence !... La toile qui attendait Martine-Alison à l'atelier est fixée au chevalet. Elle s'est assise et a regardé la progression de son travail laissé là...
Son regard s'est noyé et son esprit s'est envolé. Elle est heureuse... Elle va faire danser ses pinceaux et peindre ce qui fait sa vie.

Jusqu'à aujourd'hui, je n'étais pas autorisé à vous dévoiler son travail en cours, mais à présent j'ai toute la liberté pour vous le montrer, juste pour réjouir votre oeil !... 

Son séjour aux Philippines a inspiré notre artiste et il devient une révélation pour elle en créant cette dernière peinture. Elle a été séduite par la végétation des paysages de ce pays qui va susciter chez elle une sorte d'amalgame entre la vision réelle et son imagination. Elle n'essaie pas de peindre pour décrire le décor des Philippines mais seulement pour dégager un sentiment, une émotion... 
Elle n'en est qu'aux balbutiements, alors patience ! Je vous ferai découvrir prochainement la progression de cette dernière peinture.

Je vous avais promis de vous présenter quelques photos de Normandie, une région que Martine-Alison affectionne.

  8. I like the architecture behind her in the painting. Look forward to seeing, when it is done. Love the old abandoned boats on the beach in the photos. They would be fun to paint, or include in a story.

  10. i have never been to the Philippines, but i knew that this painting was somewhere in Asia, i can see the hut made of bamboo!!!!
    i know because there are many of huts made of bamboo in Indonesia too :)))))

  16. Une petite silhouette blonde à Kawasan falls... C'est vous et l'envie de laisser vos souvenirs heureux sur la toile.
    La peinture permet de s'envoler une deuxième fois dans ces merveilleux voyages accomplis, rêver encore un peu...

    J'ai séjourné à Grandville il y a bien longtemps et j'avais été impressionnée par ces plages immenses et l'horizon si grand et la lumière spéciale qui se dégageait de ces paysages mélancoliques.

  73. I can hear Normandy calling my name and regret that I could not work it into my husband's brief first visit to France. There is always another trip!

    As this beautiful painting is developing, I find myself wanting to peek into the unpainted area to see more. I will sit back and patiently wait for it to be revealed. After the interview with Carrie, I understand better your process. Merci!
