"Bonjour ! Comme promis je vous laisse le plaisir de découvrir la dernière peinture de Martine-Alison dans son intégralité.

"... L'évolution de la peinture..."

C'est ce qu'elle vient de faire qui lui a encore appris ce qu'elle aime et cherche en peignant... Chaque oeuvre augmente sa joie. Avec cette dernière peinture, elle a voulu vous inviter dans son monde imprégné de souvenirs et d'émotions. 

Notre artiste a pu admirer de nombreux coqs qui peuplent les villes et les campagnes des Philippines. Ils sont élevés avec beaucoup d'attention. Ils participent tous les dimanches à des combats qui est un sport national dans ce pays mais cependant très réprouvé chez nous en France. Toutefois, lorsque vous décrivez une corrida à un Philippin il est stupéfait !
Martine-Alison n'apprécie ni les combats de coqs, ni les corridas.

Comment trouvez-vous ces coqs ? 
On dit que les plumes des coqs symbolisent le courage. La cocarde était autrefois une touffe de plumes de coq portée par les soldats...
Leurs plumes pourraient servir à confectionner des chapeaux ! Cependant, je préfère qu'on utilise les leurs que les miennes !...

Cette semaine, je voudrais faire un petit lien avec le blog d'un artiste très talentueux, Roger Âkesson. Son style est très particulier, lorsque vous découvrirez ces oeuvres, vous serez conquis. Martine-Alison aime beaucoup sa peinture.

Les jardins en ce moment s'enorgueillissent de merveilleux rhododendrons. Ils attirent l'oeil de Martine-Alison.

  3. Oh Martine, you are my fav artist! What wonderful paintings, they make me want to be there, like Alice in Wonderland. Very interesting about roosters in Phillipines, but they get upset with bull fighting. I don't like any fighting, with animals, nor humans in boxing either.   15. You take us into a glimpse, a feeling of the Philippines. Your vegetation and structure echo a different place than we're used to. I like the way you incorporated your souvenirs from your visit into your work. Those of us who paint landscapes, return from a holiday to paint scenes from our visit. But you take it a step further by selecting things from your memory and bringing us into your wonderful world of colorful imagination. It's a beautiful way to keep your memories alive!

  26. I think this is my favorite! There is so much to see in this and as always your color is so clear and beautiful. All the lines pull you back into the painting and then bring you back to the excitement in the foreground. And you know I LOVE the roosters!!

  45. This is definitely one of my favorite Martine-Alison creations! I love the figure so much - she conveys a spirits of happiness and comfort that appeals tome very much. I barely see Leo peeking out from behind the bushes. Perhaps he is frightened of the fighting roosters!

    C'est avec fébrilité que j'ai d'abord vérifié si vous étiez présent dans cette toile, c'est toujours la première chose que je fais. Une fois rassurée, je me dépose et j'apprécie l'ensemble de la toile. Martine a un talent fou. Si chacune de ses peintures augmente sa joie, chaque fois que je les regarde, c'est mon indice de bonheur qui augmente.
