"Une petite touche d'exotisme à Ramatuelle"

"Bonjour ! Je suis très touché par vos nombreuses attentions. Martine-Alison et moi-même nous vous en remercions...

Après avoir quitté Fayence, Martine-Alison s'est octroyée des moments bonheurs à Gassin et ses alentours.
Aujourd'hui, je vous dévoile le croquis de sa prochaine peinture. Le génie du lieu semble avoir inspiré notre artiste. Il reflète un petit air méditerranéen. Ses fleurs et ses oiseaux encensent d'un parfum exotique Ramatuelle, ce village charmant qu'elle vient de nous croquer. Je suis très fier d'apparaître auprès de cette jolie "nénette" ! Je la lorgne du coin de l'oeil !
Mon ami emplumé est heureux de faire escale dans ce merveilleux environnement. Nous allons côtoyer en secret la pie, le geai, la corneille, le rouge-gorge et les oiseaux de bord de mer... Irons-nous peut-être à la rencontre des oiseaux habillés de noir, les cormorans, sur l'Île aux oiseaux qui surgit des flots à quelques minutes du phare de Camarat ?...
Cependant la reine incontestée de ce lieu reste la cigale avec son chant qui rythme la sieste... L'avez-vous aperçue ?...

Ramatuelle est situé dans le Var, au coeur de la presqu'île de Saint-Tropez. On tombe facilement amoureux de ce village construit à flanc de collines. Il vous offre un panorama fantastique face à la baie de Pampelonne.



Martine-Alison a fait une rencontre majeure dans son parcours artistique. Une rencontre artistique heureuse et humaine que celle de Georges Frixtalon !...
Il est un peu son maître à penser lié à la peinture. C'est un peu son mentor et elle son disciple. Ils ont tous les deux une grande sensibilité.
Lorsqu'elle arrive à Gassin, elle va lui rendre visite. Elle est à chaque fois enthousiasmée de le revoir. Elle a un grand respect pour lui. Si grand, qu'elle ne veut pas que j'en dévoile davantage... Je me contenterai de vous présenter ces deux photos.

Georges Frixtalon a écrit concernant la peinture placé au sol : "... Chercher cette simplicité qui est l'expression de la grandeur..."

Comme promis, je vais aujourd'hui continuer à vous montrer quelques souvenirs des petites randonnées de notre artiste, capturés dans son appareil photo.
Connaissez-vous Collobrières ? C'est un village situé en plein coeur du massif des Maures dans le Var. Il est célèbre pour ses châtaigneraies et l'exploitation des chênes-lièges.

Malgré de belles journées ensoleillées, les petits matins frais ont annoncé l'arrivée de Dame Automne. Quelle joie pour les feuilles !

  1. Martine, je tiens j'avais su que vous aviez à la Galerie Blue Heron à Cape Cod - je l'aurais fait en sorte que je suis allé là pour le voir! Il n'ya rien de tel que de voir le bel art de quelqu'un dans la vraie vie!

  6. Ramatuelle.. one of my favourite villages and that area is the one that I fell in love with before moving to France... Really the reason for my move!
